Cuban Style Rueda de Casino Salsa Dance Classes
Mondays, April 29th – May 20th, 8:15-9:15 PM.
4-WEEK SESSION: $85 per person for four classes. You must pay in full for the session.
North Presbyterian Church, 300 N Forest Rd, Williamsville, NY 14221. Details will be sent via email once you register for the class.
You must have an advanced beginner to intermediate level of salsa dancing experience to join this session. This means that you are completely comfortable dancing the basic salsa step on1 and cumbia step to the rhythm of the music and you know how to lead basic overhead turns and the cross body lead with a partner. This class will move at a steady pace and each class will build upon the next class.
Rueda de Casino, which means casino wheel, is a Cuban style of salsa dancing that originated in Cuba and is danced all over the world. Danced in a circle, there is one “caller” of the moves, like in square or contra dancing, and couples rotate partners throughout the dance. It is so much fun and has a real community feel to the dance.
You do not need a partner to sign up for this class, though, if you do sign up with a partner, you will be rotating partners for the entire class, as that is the nature of this dance. See video below. We may ask women or female identifying participants to lead instead of follow and vice versa with male/male identifying participants, if we need more leaders or followers.
We welcome couples as well as individual dancers.

If you are signing up for two (2) people at one time, you must purchase two (2) class passes at once, as the rate is per person for the session.
We will follow all current CDC guidelines regarding COVID-19 to keep ourselves and each other safe and by signing up, you agree to do the same. Thank you.
Class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. No make-ups for missed classes.

Dance and body movement are physical activities. You agree that you are engaging at your own risk and ability. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Love Is Real LLC and Sarah E. Haykel in addition to any location, any other instructors, or anyone else assisting with or volunteering for this class or event for any liability for damage or claims for damage for personal or physical injury, harm, death, or loss or damage to your personal goods or supplies while engaging in this dance class, workshop or event with Sarah Haykel and Love Is Real LLC. You agree to follow all current COVID protocol in the State of New York and Erie County while engaging in these classes. By registering for this class, you and any others in your party agree to these terms.
When you register for a class, event or workshop, you will automatically be added to our email list to receive information for this purchase as well as to hear more about our services. Though you can unsubscribe at any time, we encourage you to remain subscribed until your course, class or event are finished, then unsubscribe, if you no longer wish to receive our emails. If you unsubscribe early, you may miss important emails for the item you purchased. Pictures and Video may be taken of our classes or events.
