Salsa in the Park 2023 will be on the 1st and 3rd Mondays in June, July and August, starting June 5th plus a BONUS DATE Monday, August 28th celebrating First Responders and Essential Workers with a discounted ticket for themselves and a guest! This year ticket sales will be online and in person. Purchase your ticket online whenever possible, thank you! Tickets will be released the day of each event at 4 PM.
There will be six (6) Salsa in the Park events plus a BONUS DATE August 28th on Monday nights throughout the summer. See dates below!
Join us 1st and 3rd Mondays PLUS August 28th throughout the summer for a fun, family-friendly event at the Rose Gardens in Delaware Park (next to the Marcy Casino) at 199 Lincoln Pkwy, Buffalo, N.Y.
Beginner lessons offered at each Monday night event in either Salsa, Bachata, or Merengue followed by open social dancing to merengue, bachata, salsa, timba (Cuban salsa), cha cha cha and kizomba.
No partner necessary.
Beginners welcomed and encouraged.

August 7th: Bachata Dance Lesson
August 21st: Salsa Dance Lesson with music by Sol y Sombra!

August 28th: BONUS DATE! Celebrating First Responders and Essential Workers with a $10 ticket for themselves and one guest! Join us for one more party on August 28th to celebrate our love and joy of Latin dancing in the Olmstead Parks!
The events start at 6:30pm, with a beginner dance lesson for 30 minutes followed by open dancing from 7-9pm where you can practice your moves and meet other dancers. No partner necessary.
$15 per person. Student tickets available with valid I.D. for $10. Click here for student tickets. ALL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED ONLINE. Tickets will be made available at 4 PM the day of each event. If you have trouble purchasing online tickets, you can pay in person at the door with cash, Venmo or Cash App. Tickets are non-refundable or transferable once purchased.
You must bring your QR code from your ticket purchase to the event and show it at the welcome table to receive a wrist band.
Children under 10 years old, free and must be supervised by an adult at all times.

*The August 21st Grand Finale Event:*
*The Grand Finale Event on August 21st includes a 45 minute salsa dance lesson for beginners with Sarah and Jerome starting at 6:30pm, with music by Sol Y Sombra and Salsa for the Soul and extended open dancing until 9:30pm. $20 online, $15 for students with a valid I.D.*
Lloyd Taco Factory is partnering with Salsa in the Park to have a taco truck at every Salsa in the Park event to bring you tasty food and cold refreshments for purchase to refuel and keep you hydrated!
In an effort to make Salsa in the Park an Earth-Friendly event, please bring your own reusable water bottle filled with water. Water bottles will not be sold at the events.
Parking: Please park on Lincoln Parkway or Rumsey Rd and walk to the Rose Gardens Pavilion.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled by 4PM the day of the event and tickets will not be made available.
