Grand Finale Event August 8th at Salsa in the Park 2022

We’ve added a Grand Finale Event for the 9th season of Salsa in the Park on Monday, August 8th, 2022 from 6:30-9:30PM
Our Grand Finale event will feature a 45 minute salsa dance lesson for beginners at the Rose Gardens in Delaware Park (next to the Marcy Casino), will feature LIVE Latin music by Latin band Sol Y Sombra, followed by open social dancing to Merengue, Bachata, Salsa, Timba (Cuban Salsa), Cha Cha Cha and Kizomba until 9:30PM.
No partner necessary. Beginners welcomed and encouraged.
Grand Finale August 8th Salsa in the Park Event Details:
August 8th, Grand Finale Event
- 6:30pm – a 45 minute salsa dance lesson for beginners with Sarah and Jerome
- Two 30 minute sets of Live Latin music by Sol Y Sombra with DJ sets in between, starting at 7:15PM
- Extended open dancing until 9:30PM
- $12 at the door
- No partner necessary, beginners welcomed and encouraged.
In an effort to make Salsa in the Park an Earth-Friendly event, please bring your own reusable water bottle filled with water. Water bottles will not be sold at the events.
Parking: Please park on Lincoln Parkway or Rumsey Rd and walk to the Rose Gardens Pavilion.
In the case of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled. Please email Sarah if you’re questioning whether the event is canceled due to weather.

Hi Jacqueline, we decided to have you register right at the event, so no need to pre-register. Just come on Monday, August 8th and we’ll get you registered at the welcome table. Arrive around 6:10pm so you can get parking and we can sign you in before the lesson starts.
