I want to share with you a green smoothie recipe I tried a few weeks ago. It was DELICIOUS. I used to do green smoothies religiously and now I do them once in a while. This is a three part smoothie: making it, dancing to the sounds of the blender with my mom and then enjoying the amazing flavors and smooth texture afterwords! It was amazing. I was at my parents house on this particular day and this is what I tried:
Coco-Loco Dancing Green Smoothie (Get Your Groove On)
1 whole med. banana
2 stalks organic celery with fresh leaves!
3 slices fresh ginger
1 tblsp coconut oil
1/4 large, ripe avocado
3 baby carrots
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
3/4 cup Almond milk
1/2 cup water or coconut water
Blend it up and get your body moving to the sound of the blender. Dance, feel the rhythms and motion of the blender and just have fun while your smoothie is blending up! Get those endorphins PUMPING!
Once the blending is complete, share your smoothie with family and friends and enjoy!
It can be thinned further with water or coconut water.
This was the creamiest, most delicious smoothie I had made in a long time and my Mom and I got a KICK and a LAUGH out of dancing while the blender was working away!
Now that we are coming into Spring, I may be doing green smoothies more. What about you? Do you like green smoothies and is there a recipe you’d like to share?
Love, Sarah, fellow green smoothie enthusiast : )
Now that sounds delicious, and the smoothie sound fabulous too! 😉 Thanks for the inspiration to get back into a morning smoothie flow, gonna give your recipe a try, although like sub coconut milk for almond.
