“It’s so interesting,” I said, bracing myself against the chill of the day and pointing at the sunlight shimmering on the water. “The sunlight is not on the water, but it looks like it is.”
My friend looked at me quizzically, agreeing with a nod.
“It is a reflection of the sun light on the water,” I said.
Is it true that the sunlight is not actually on the water when it is shining on the water? What is on the water then if it is not sunlight?
