Yoga at the Birge
A day of community and good vibrations together through yoga, music, meditation and dance
Brought to you by Sarah Haykel of Love Is Real LLC
Find yourself in a beautiful, historic location for a day of retreat in yoga, meditation and movement.
On Saturday, November 5th, we will gather as a community for a day of yoga, meditation and movement with four dynamic teachers to get centered inside of ourselves, collect our energies, relax, restore and energize for the upcoming holiday season and New Year.
The theme for Yoga at the Birge is Peace. Come to cultivate peace within yourself so that you can be more of the peace you wish to see and enjoy in the world.
We will meet at the Birge Mansion on Saturday, November 5th at 9:45 AM to begin our festival in community with a welcoming circle.
Our first class will begin at 10:00 AM with gentle yoga to warm up the mind, body and spirit, followed by an invigorating yoga class with pranayama (yoga breathing exercises).
Lunch will take place at the Birge Mansion provided by Ashkers Juice Bar, which you can order online (or you can bring your own lunch).
The afternoon will commence with a meditation and gentle yoga class followed by a dance meditation, the Chakra Dance Tune-Up and a closing circle.
This festival is perfect for the complete beginner to advanced practitioners in yoga, meditation and mindfulness, ages 12+. All genders and orientations are welcome. This facility is not wheelchair accessible. If you would like to participate and require accessibility, please send me a message here.
